Alba is a 2yr old DSH calico that presented in critical condition on 3/2/12 at WDAH after been attacked by a family dog. Along with crushing injuries to her chest she also had a severe broken Left Tibia and Fibula. She was lucky enough to survive the night , however, because of immediate financial concerns of her previous owners, she was eventually abandoned. She came in as 3.5 lb cat and despite her injuries have gained more than 4 lbs. State law required us to wait 10 days after last contact with previous owner and the delivery of certified letter of this notice, inorder to declare her abandoned. Therefore she was maintained and kept comfortably, but was unable to get the surgery she needed. Therefore, because weeks had passed and Alba's surgery is going to be more extensive. She is schelduled for surgery on April 4th 2012 at Swedesboro Animal Hospital, performed by Dr. Mark Magazu.
