Mary-Margaret now "Molly" came to visit....
****ADOPTED*****
Mary-Margaret is a pup that was brought to WDAH on 1/2/12 by someone who claimed she was a stray pup he found but he could not keep her. He wanted to bring her to the shelter but because of the holiday the shelter was closed. WDAH agreed to hold her until the shelter re-opened in the morning, because he claimed he was just going to let her back out on the street. After an hour at the hospital she vomited and then had profuse diarrhea, she was then tested the PARVOVIRUS and she was positive. We had to start treatment on her right away because the parvovirus is very deadly. We have notified all the neighboring hospital and shelters and no one has reported her missing as of 1/6/12.
She will continue to be treated and with alot of love and work and she may recover from this disease. Please continue to send your love and support for her.
