Gizmo is a 12yr old male neutered DSH that was rescued from underneath a truck in the parking lot during a thunderstorm. He was abandoned in a broken duffle bag in the bed of the truck. During the thunderstorm he escaped and lodged himself under the truck. Luckily, he was heard crying before the truck owner departed. He was very frightened and refused any comfort or food but now he is starting to warm up to his caretakers and has began eating a little.
Gizmo case is being investigated by the ASPCA

On 11/3011 Gizmo's precious owner pleaded guity to abandonment and was fined by the courts. She was also required to sign Gizmo over to us so that we can give him any care he needs and find him a new home. So gizmo will be receiving a complete blood workout before he goes up for senior adoption.

Gizmo was placed in his permanent foster care home on 12/24/11 and was able to spend the holiday with his new family. We can happily report he is doing very well in his new home.
