  Meet CeeCee...

CeeCee was a very emaciated kitten that presented to WDAH. Xrays revealed a possible foreign body and a possible heart disease. Unable to possibly survive any surgery CeeCee had a poor prognosis. Weighing just under 4 lbs CeeCee had to be closely monitored as she underwent steps to hydrate her body in hopes she would pass the item. Careful care was taken to ensure that no additional stress was placed upon her heart. Thankfully, she able to pass a "SILLY BAND" a item commonly worn by kids today. After passing the band she has now gained 5 oz. and her appetite continues to improve. CeeCee will be evaluated by a specialist via ultrasound to ensure no more foreign bodies are present and there is no permanent damage to her gastrointestinal tract and also to evaluate her heart. Hopefully, after a clean bill of health, she will be able to be spayed and find a home. So please wish CeeCee all the best

5/19/2011  After receiving an ultrasound it was discovered that ceecee had an additional foreign body. She was then scheldule for surgery for removal of the foreign body and repair of her damaged intestines.
**CeeCee is slowly recovering from major surgery! Continue to send her all the love and support.
5/25/2011 CeeCee is recovering well
6/8/11  Ceecee is doing very well and have now starting eating dry food.
7/13/11 Ceecee continues to do well and has now been schelduled for her spay.
8/1/11 Cee was spayed last week and is recovering well. She will be looking for a permanent foster home soon!!!!
